SSA Guidelines

We follow Standard School Attire (SSA) guidelines for our dress code at Stanford Montessori. To support our families, the PTO hosts uniform swaps throughout the year. Parents can donate old uniforms and pick up gently used ones in their childs' size. Students are permitted to wear:

• Any solid color shirts and dresses with collars
• Black, navy or khaki bottoms
  • Leggings may only be worn under skirts and dresses, not as pants

Hats and hoods are not allowed, with the exception of religious head coverings and hooded spirit wear.

On Fridays, Students may wear Stanford Spirit wear with SSA bottoms.

Pop Out Days

• Pop Out Days are days (sometimes themed, sometimes not) when students are permitted to wear non-SSA clothes to school.
• Pop Out Days will be announced in advance. Please do not allow your student to come to school in non-SSA clothes on days that are not designated as Pop Out Days.
• Students must still follow MNPS dress code guidelines and dress appropriately on Pop Out Days.
